Nurhayati Ismail is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over two decades of experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
During her early career, Nurhayati worked in a mental health facility as part of a multidisciplinary team, where she provided psychoeducation and counselling to both children and adults. This experience strengthened her ability to support higher-functioning individuals with ASD, while deepening her understanding of family dynamics and enhancing her capacity to guide and empower caregivers.
Since 2003, Nurhayati has been dedicated to delivering evidence-based ABA services across both one-to-one and school-based settings. She has supported children with diverse developmental profiles through individualized intervention, and has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and meaningful progress across home and school environments.
Over the years, Nurhayati has collaborated with leading practitioners in progressive ABA and has played a key role in advancing clinical practice through staff training, parent education, and professional workshops. She has also been actively involved in mentoring therapists and supporting the development of social skills groups and school readiness programmes, helping children build functional skills for everyday life.
In her previous leadership role as Clinical Director within a well-established organisation, Nurhayati provided both clinical and strategic oversight, guiding multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of service delivery. She has extensive experience in clinical consultation and case management for both local and international families, and regularly delivers training and workshops for parents, educators, and professionals internationally.
Nurhayati brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience to her role and is deeply committed to supporting children and families through thoughtful, collaborative, and high-quality ABA practice.
