Behavioural Therapist

Eugenie Chiang Yong Shin holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology and has experience supporting children with a range of developmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), General Developmental Delay (GDD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), and learning difficulties.

Eugenie began her work in the field as an Educational Therapist in a special needs centre, where she delivered individualized interventions tailored to each child’s developmental profile. She supported children in building foundational skills across communication, behaviour regulation, and learning, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to intervention.

Since joining Cotyledon Therapy in November 2025, Eugenie has been providing both one-to-one and group-based sessions using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Her work focuses on behaviour management, skill acquisition, and data-driven intervention, while collaborating closely with caregivers and educators to support generalisation across home and school environments.

Eugenie is currently undergoing formal training in ABA and is working towards the Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA) pathway. She is committed to continuous professional development, actively building her skills in assessment, programme planning, and evidence-based practice through ongoing supervision and training.

With a thoughtful and dedicated approach, Eugenie is passionate about supporting each child’s growth and helping them reach their fullest potential within a supportive and structured environment.
