Dawn Wee is a Speech and Language Therapist with a Master of Science and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (MS, CCC-SLP), bringing nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals across the United States, Australia, and Singapore.
Throughout her career, Dawn has worked across a wide range of settings, including homes, preschools, early intervention centres, special schools, and home healthcare services. She has supported individuals with diverse speech, language, communication, and feeding needs across different developmental stages, delivering individualized and functional interventions tailored to each client.
In addition to her clinical work, Dawn is a part-time lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she teaches the Language and Communication module. She integrates her clinical experience into her teaching, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with practical application, while staying engaged with current research to inform both her clinical and academic work.
Dawn has a strong interest in early intervention and is particularly passionate about supporting communication development during the early years. She works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, believing that collaboration and consistency are key to achieving meaningful and functional outcomes for each child.
With her extensive international experience and reflective approach to practice, Dawn is committed to supporting individuals and families through evidence-based, compassionate, and collaborative care.
